Usefulness above all!

By following this simple assumption, we were able to create an incredibly useful mobile application that has been very successful – and has already been downloaded over 10,000 times.

It was my personal challenge

Creating this application was probably the biggest challenge I had to face in my work. Not because of its complexity, but because of the scope of responsibilities I had in this project.

In this project, I played the following roles:

  • Project Manager,
  • Designer,
  • Business Analyst,
  • Marketer,
  • and Photographer.

Taking Charge

In reality, only my subordinates coded, wrote texts and translated them. The remainder was coordinated and carried out by me.

It was my responsibility to determine desirable user functionalities. Afterwards, I created the design layout of the application, complte with texts from a copywriter. I also arranged and led a photo shoot of a model performing exercises. I combined all of these elements and gave them in a proper format to the programmers who then created a Polish-language MVP version of the application.

After the application was launched and tested in Poland, we were ready to localize it in 12 additional markets around the world.

It was a great success! 🚀

After all these years, the application is still in use and has already accumulated 10K+ downloads on Google Play.

The Process

Creating mobile apps is a challenging process. A team of creative designers, code programmers, and bug testers work together to create a masterpiece. They start with brainstorming and end up with a brand new shiny app! The designers make sure the app looks great, while the programmers ensure it works perfectly. They test the app and squash any pesky little bugs that come up. Yes, for sure, but not this time 😂
